Head-to-head comparisons

Crypto Exchange Comparison

Pick any two exchanges and read the same rows for both — score, fees, products and what each is actually best at. Every pair below is a full comparison chart, built from the same criteria rather than from each exchange’s own marketing.

vs

A fee comparison has to cover more than the trading fee

The number every exchange advertises is its spot maker/taker rate, and for most people it is the smallest fee they will pay. Two exchanges quoting the same 0.1% can still cost very different amounts once the money moves.

What separates them sits further down: the withdrawal fee on the network you actually use, which can differ by more than a hundredfold between chains on the same platform; the spread applied when a balance is converted rather than traded; and funding rates if you hold perpetuals. On a small account withdrawn once a month, the withdrawal fee dwarfs the trading fee entirely.

Each pair page sets those side by side, along with the security and reserve-transparency scores, so the comparison is between the same rows rather than between two marketing pages.

The highest-scoring exchange is not automatically your exchange

Our ranking answers one question: which exchanges score best against the criteria we publish. This page answers a different one — which of these two, for you.

The gap between those is usually geography. An exchange can lead the ranking and still not serve your country with fiat, or not offer the product you came for where you live, or ask for verification you cannot complete. None of that shows up in an overall score, and all of it decides the answer.

So use the ranking to shortlist, and a head-to-head to choose between the two that survive it.
