How this site is made

How We Make Money

SmartRevenueHub is free to read and earns from referral links to some of the providers it rates. This page says which links pay, what that costs you, what it cannot influence, and what the site measures.

The short version

When you open an account, deposit or make a purchase through some of the links on this site, the provider pays us a commission. That is the only revenue. There is no display advertising, no sponsored content, no paid placement in any rating, and nothing is sold to readers.

Which links pay

  • Referral links to forex brokers, crypto exchanges, payment services, VPS providers and wallet makers that run a partner programme.
  • Links to currency exchangers on the exchange monitor, where the exchanger pays a share of the transaction it receives through our link.
  • Some copy-trading strategy links. On platforms that allow it, the strategy's operator shares part of the performance fee paid by followers who joined through our link, on top of the platform's own referral commission.
  • The on-site swap tool, which routes through an aggregator that pays a referral fee on swaps made through it.

A paid link is marked as sponsored in the page's HTML, and the footer of every page carries the disclosure. A link with no such marking is not a paid link.

What it costs you

Normally nothing. The provider pays the commission out of its own margin, and the fees you pay are the ones on the provider's public price list. Where a provider offers different terms through a referral link, the page says so. Always read the provider's own terms before funding an account; the risk disclaimer applies to every link on the site.

What a commission cannot influence

A score, an entry's position in a rating, whether a provider is listed at all, and whether it is disqualified. Every rating is a weighted sum of published criteria, and the methodology page shows the weights and current cases where a provider that pays us nothing outranks one that does. Many of the providers rated here have no partner programme with us, either because they do not run one or because our application was not accepted, and they are rated on the same terms.

Whether a page gets written does not depend on a partner programme either. If a topic matters to readers, the review is published whether or not anyone pays for the referral. The editorial policy sets this out in full.

What the site measures

We count clicks on outbound links by destination, so that we know which partner programme to check, and page views with a first-party counter that sets no cookie and stores no personal data. Referral links may carry a partner token in their address; that token is not stored with the click record. The privacy policy covers the rest.

Why this model

A referral commission is paid by the provider you chose, after you chose it, which is the arrangement least likely to change what we write. It is also why the site can be read without advertising or a paywall. If that ever changes, this page will change first.
