Head-to-head comparisons

Forex Broker Comparison

Put any two brokers side by side on the same rows — score, costs, regulation, platforms and who each one actually suits. Every pair below reads from the same criteria rather than from either broker’s own pitch.

vs

Spread is the number everyone compares, and the one that moves

Advertised spreads are best-case figures, quoted on the most liquid pair at the calmest hour. The spread you trade is wider, sometimes much wider around news, and a broker with a lower headline number can easily be the more expensive one over a month.

A raw-spread account complicates it further: the spread drops close to zero and a per-lot commission appears instead, so the two cost structures are not comparable until you convert them to a single number at your own volume. Hold positions overnight and swap becomes a third cost, one most comparisons ignore entirely.

Each pair page carries these as the same rows for both brokers, so the comparison is like for like.

Which entity you would actually open with

Most large brokers are several companies. The name is one thing; the entity that holds your account depends on where you live, and it decides your leverage cap, your investor protection and who regulates the relationship.

That is why a broker can be the better choice for one reader and the worse one for another with the same trading style. An overall score cannot express it, and a head-to-head can — which is the reason this page exists alongside the ranking rather than inside it.
