RoboForex CopyFX Update: SARUJA AI Collapses, Filmont and exactw Added

SARUJA AI, RoboForex CopyFX's most-copied strategy, went from +29,938% all-time yield to -2.91% in about a week. Real day-by-day numbers pulled from RoboForex's own data, why the collapse fits a known pattern, and why Filmont — Invictus Maneo and exactw — Albert Einstein now replace it in our recommended list.

RoboForex CopyFX Update: SARUJA AI Collapses, Filmont and exactw Added

SARUJA AI, the most-copied strategy on RoboForex's CopyFX platform and the account our own copy-trading leaders coverage has tracked since March, lost essentially its entire historical gain over the past week. We pulled the real numbers directly from RoboForex's own data and updated our recommended-accounts list to match — the account's own stats page (pictured above) shows the same collapse across every chart: yield, drawdown, profit and balance.

What actually happened, day by day

This isn't a rounded-off summary — these are the account's own all-time yield figures, pulled directly from RoboForex's live data on 2026-08-11:

Date All-time yield
2026-07-16 (peak) +29,938.74%
2026-08-04 +24,342.16%
2026-08-05 +11,976.43%
2026-08-07 +4,784.40%
2026-08-10 +1,262.62%
2026-08-11 (today) -2.91%

The account's balance fell from a peak around $700,000 to $2,234.16 today. Maximum drawdown, which sat around -63% for weeks, now reads -99.21%. This wasn't one bad day — it was roughly a week of consecutive losses that gave back months of gains, then kept going until the account's entire historical profit was gone.

The account is still technically open. As of today it still shows 3,211 subscribers and a live "Copy now" button. RoboForex doesn't automatically close or hide a strategy after a collapse like this — anyone still attached to it, or who copies it going forward, is copying an account that just lost everything it had made.

Why this specific shape isn't surprising

A smooth, fast-climbing yield curve followed by a sudden, near-total reversal is the signature pattern of a martingale or grid strategy, not a one-off accident. SARUJA AI traded 95%+ gold, and its drawdown chart already showed repeated sharp dips well before this one — they just always recovered, until the position sizing behind one of them was too large to recover from.

The "AI" in the name never had a substantiated basis — RoboForex's own strategy description never disclosed a model or method, and the actual trading pattern was consistent with manual martingale-style position averaging the entire time. Worth remembering the next time a strategy's name implies a level of sophistication its public numbers don't actually demonstrate.

What changed in our own rating

We removed SARUJA AI from our recommended CopyFX picks — it stays documented in the leaders coverage as a real historical case, but it's no longer something we point readers toward. Two accounts replace it, picked for durability signals rather than today's raw top-yield sort, which is exactly the sort that put SARUJA AI in this position in the first place.

Added: Filmont — Invictus Maneo

The best risk-adjusted profile we found when we went looking. 740.99% all-time yield against only a 17.5% maximum drawdown — a fraction of what SARUJA AI or most of RoboForex's other top performers carry. The trader's own strategy description states directly: "Strict risk management, no martingale or aggressive grids." The instrument mix backs that claim up — about 70% gold, but the rest spread across silver, EUR/USD and five other pairs, not one instrument carrying the whole account.

The drawdown chart shows why the "no aggressive grids" claim holds up in practice: repeated small dips, the worst around -18%, nothing resembling SARUJA AI's occasional 50%+ air pockets. Running since December 2025 (about 8 months), 146 subscribers, $49,552 balance. See the live account.

Added: exactw — Albert Einstein

The longest track record we could find on RoboForex's rating: active since November 2024, over 21 months, more than 18,000 individual trades. 266.61% all-time yield — modest next to SARUJA AI's old headline number, but genuinely stable: it stayed in a 251-267% band for the entire past month, no sharp moves either direction.

Its real maximum drawdown, -62.61%, is close to SARUJA AI's own figure on paper. The honest difference is visible directly in the chart above: that drawdown happened once, early — a single sharp dip around February-March 2025 — with nothing comparable in the year and a half since, spread across a highly diversified mix (EUR/USD-led, no single instrument over 27% of volume) rather than one concentrated bet. 251 subscribers and $209,412 balance — the most of any account we checked, a real (if imperfect) signal that a large number of people have trusted it with real money over a long period. See the live account.

This doesn't mean copy trading is a bad idea

Both new accounts show genuine, currently real, positive returns — this update isn't "stay away from CopyFX," it's "the account we were pointing to just proved why sizing and diversification matter." Real money is being made on this platform right now, including by the two accounts above. The difference between a good outcome and SARUJA AI's outcome isn't luck, it's structure:

  • Size any single strategy against its own worst drawdown, not its best month — see our position-sizing guide, which used SARUJA AI's own numbers as its worked example before this happened. That example just became real.
  • Spread an allocation across genuinely different strategies, not several accounts that all move together — see our guide on copy-trading portfolio diversification.
  • Check the live numbers yourself before copying anything, including anything on this page — RoboForex's public CopyFX rating updates in real time, and today's picks can change the same way SARUJA AI did.

FAQ

Will SARUJA AI recover? Unknown, and not something we're going to speculate on. What's certain is that -99.21% maximum drawdown means anyone who was allocated proportionally to this account lost essentially everything they had in it. A recovery from here would need a gain measured in thousands of percent just to get back to break-even.

Should I unsubscribe if I'm currently copying SARUJA AI? That's a decision based on your own account, not something a general article can answer responsibly. What we can say factually: the account's own numbers show it currently has no meaningful profit left, and its historical pattern (recovering from smaller dips before this one didn't) doesn't guarantee anything about what happens next.

Why does RoboForex still let people copy a collapsed strategy? RoboForex's rating doesn't automatically de-list or flag a strategy after a bad stretch — the platform shows the numbers and leaves the decision to the subscriber. That's a real, structural reason to check the actual drawdown chart yourself rather than assume a strategy that's still listed is still safe.

Bottom line

SARUJA AI went from RoboForex's most-copied strategy to essentially zero all-time return in about a week, confirmed with the platform's own live data. We've removed it from our recommended list and replaced it with Filmont — Invictus Maneo (lower drawdown, explicit no-martingale policy) and exactw — Albert Einstein (the longest track record we found, most subscribers, most capital). Neither is a guarantee — nothing in copy trading is — but both are picked for reasons SARUJA AI's own listing never had: real diversification, and a drawdown history that doesn't rely on nothing bad ever happening.
